Why we started
Awas Score.
Across India, families who could get help from a housing scheme often never apply. Not because they don’t qualify, but because the rules are long, scattered across websites, and written in difficult language.
Many end up paying agents, or give up after one confusing visit to an office. We wanted to change that.
Awas Score turns those rules into one simple score and clear next steps, so every family can see where it stands before taking the next step.

We read the official rules
Each scheme’s rules come from its published government guidelines, not from news articles or hearsay.
We check them one by one
Your state, income, current home and family are matched against every rule, so you can see exactly where you pass and where you don’t.
We keep them up to date
When a scheme changes its rules or limits, we update our checks so your score stays accurate.
Our sources: guidelines published by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (PMAY-Urban), the Ministry of Rural Development (PMAY-Gramin) and state housing departments.
