Last updated: 30 September 2026

The short version

  • We only ask for what we need to give you your score and reply to you.
  • We never sell your information to anyone.
  • Your score details are never shared with advertisers, government offices or agents.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.

Who we are

Awas Score is a product of DIGIVILL, based in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Awas Score and DIGIVILL. “You” means anyone who uses our website or services.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address and, if you choose to share it, your phone number.
  • Details for your Awas Score: your state, whether you live in a town or village, your family’s yearly income, your current home and who lives with you.
  • Messages: anything you write to us through the contact form or by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical details such as your browser type, device and the pages you visit, used to keep the website working and secure.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, including those used by Google to show ads on our free articles. See Cookies and advertising.

How we use your information

  • To work out your Awas Score and show which schemes may fit your family.
  • To reply to your questions and support requests.
  • To process payments and send you receipts.
  • To keep our website safe and prevent misuse.
  • To improve our service, using combined information that doesn’t identify you.

We only use your information for these purposes, and only with your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run Awas Score, such as our website host, email provider and payment partner. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

On our free articles, our advertising partner Google may collect information through cookies to show ads. This is explained in Cookies and advertising. The details you enter for your Awas Score, and your contact messages, are never shared with advertisers.

We may also share information if the law requires it, for example when asked by a court or government authority.

We do not share your details with scheme offices, banks or agents on your behalf.

Payments

Payments for your Awas Score are handled by our payment partner. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details. We only receive a confirmation that your payment was successful.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on secure servers and protected with encryption and restricted access. Only people who need it to help you can see it.

No website can be completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will tell you if a data breach affects you.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our service, answer your questions or meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

Under Indian law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Raise a complaint with us, and with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

To use any of these rights, write to us at care@awasscore.com.

Cookies and advertising

Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. We use them in two ways:

Cookies we need

These keep the website working and secure, for example protecting our contact form from spam. The website can’t work properly without them.

Advertising cookies

To keep our scheme guides and articles free, and to support our editorial team, we show ads from Google AdSense on our free articles. We don’t show ads on the pages where you enter your details, pay or see your Awas Score.

  • Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
  • Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can turn off personalised ads from Google at any time in Google’s My Ad Center. You will still see ads, but they will be less related to you.
  • You can also opt out of personalised ads from many other advertising companies at aboutads.info.

To learn more, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies we need, some parts of the website, like the contact form, may not work.

Children

Awas Score is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
